Desperate to survive the harshness of his daily life on the
Great Salt Plain of Somalia, a curious young boy nicknamed
A.J. embarks on a fanciful adventure where he follows the
sun’s risings and settings into worlds of both danger and
beauty. Through his efforts to help the people and unusual
creatures he encounters along the way, he discovers for the
first time the strengths and confidence in himself which have
so long eluded him.
